Brenda and Family

Brenda & Rob Woods; Mother Lillian Johnston Pack – 90th Birthday

It has been my pleasure to work for the clergy and laity of the Harrisonburg District for over 30 years as the Administrative Assistant. I have worked for 7 of the 8 Harrisonburg District Superintendents. While the job of district superintendent is the same, all 7 District Superintendents have brought different gifts and graces to the job and I have learned from each one.

I graduated from Ferrum College with an A.S. Degree, King College (Bristol, TN) with a B.A. Degree and I hold a Master’s of Science Degree from Radford University. My husband, Robert H. Woods, III, (Rob) and I celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary on July 26, 2015. We live in Bridgewater, Virginia, and we are members of Augusta Stone Presbyterian Church in Fort Defiance. Our family includes a very spoiled Sable Merle Cocker Spaniel named, “King”, and a Tortoiseshell cat named, “Belle.”

I have a twin sister, Linda Woodyard, who lives in southwestern Virginia and two nephews.

My interests are interior design and I love antiques stores and malls. I collect a Heisey crystal pattern, Plantation.

My 91 yearold Mother, Lillian Johnston Pack, is a resident in the Joy Household, Huffman Health Center, at Bridgewater Retirement

Community. She suffered a stroke in 2007 and I have spent much of my free time with her the past 8 years.

I am truly blessed to be in ministry with the wonderful clergy and laity of the Harrisonburg District.
